Whatever “it” might be in your world, we all have had moments when it hits the fan and a new normal needs to start.

Whether it’s a broken heart, financial trouble, broken trust, lost friends, stress at home, problems with family, addiction, abuse … it hit the fan and there’s no going back. A new “normal” starts from this moment on.

Here are some of the thing that have happened in the past two weeks.

1: We got a puppy!  Hooray!  Her name is Rozy Blu and she is a whippet terrier mix that is absolutely adorable.  She is three and a half months so we can’t wait to see her as she gets bigger.  The other dogs are okay with her, but the cats…not so fond of her.

Finally Guys!
I am finally getting around to sharing my new Target booties that I drove all the way to Hilton Head to pick up! They were definitely worth the drive and are super comfy and are such a good color I can wear them with almost anything!
But that isn't the only exciting thing about this post!

Hi everyone. Did you have a great weekend? I can hardly believe Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is less than a month away. Then Christmas will be right around the corner. I'm really not rushing the season but today I am sharing my project for our monthly Junk Revision Challenge and it is a Christmas project.

This is a super easy creamy chicken and corn chowder recipe that can be made quickly. I added a tip at the bottom to show you how you can make it in the slow cooker.

This Mexican chocolate avocado mousse is gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free. | cookeatpaleo.com

Somehow we ended up with five avocados in the house today. What do you do when you have extra avocados? Make chocolate mousse! This Mexican chocolate avocado mousse is creamy and decadent, with a hint of cinnamon and a little bit of heat. It’s an easy dessert that’s gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free.

The recipe is Aunt Goo Shoes' (aka, my sister) creation.
It's easy, and it's healthy.
She's made it for us a bunch of times, but I've made it, too.
If it's easy enough for me to make, anyone can do it.

These Pumpkin OREO cookie balls make the perfect centerpiece and a sweet part of the table setting as place card holders!

The smells of Thanksgiving dinner waft through the air, the clank of silverware being set, the little laughter and pitter patters of  kids running in and out of the kitchen come to life on Thanksgiving Day.

Easy Sweet Potato Pie Dip topped with toasted buttery candied pecans! A great SUBSTITUTION for a SWEET POTATO PECAN PIE but so much easier and faster to make! You will be the talk of the town (or your family) on Thanksgiving Day!
